After twelve years of serving as houseparents at Joy Ranch, Gene & Bethany Collins are resigning from our Exodus girls’ cottage. Bethany is currently dealing with some health challenges which requires them to step away from the Joy Ranch ministry.  Please pray for her as God guides her through this challenge.

In their years of service, Gene and Bethany have worked with over 100 kids, and their tenure was approximately 20 times longer than the average houseparent. They started as relief houseparents and worked in Miller, Exodus, and Leebrick cottages while they were here. We will miss them greatly and pray for their future endeavors.

The Collins

With their leaving, God has provided a new houseparent family for Exodus girls. Josh & Sherry Kelly, along with two of their four daughters Tierney and Addey, are stepping into the role (their other two daughters are grown). Sherry helped homeschool this spring and summer, and the girls have already developed relationships with the Kelly family.

We are thankful that God knows what we need before we even ask, and that He worked this out in His timing. Please continue to pray for our kids and houseparents as they adjust to new situations.
