What is your favorite food?

Alfredo! (Fettuccine)

What is your least favorite food?

Mushrooms! How do you know if a mushroom is poisonous or not?

What is your favorite game?

Apples to Apples

What is your favorite animal? What is your favorite animal on the Ranch?

The cat family (lions, tigers, etc.) Panthers are my favorite. On the Ranch, I like Quinn. She’s fat! Mrs. Michelle says she’s 5 pounds too much.

What is your favorite thing to do on the Ranch?

I like playing with Evy and NaNa.

What is your favorite song?

Reckless Love and Oceans

What is your favorite Bible story?

Jonah and the fish. I like that Jonah got eaten. It’s funny! He was probably thinking that it smelled gross, but I bet he didn’t think it was funny.

What is your favorite thing to do outside?

I like swimming, but it needs to be a swimming pool outside.

What has been your favorite activity over the past year?

I don’t know. I like everything. I just like doing stuff. 😊

Tell me something about this past year that you never want to forget.

I don’t want to forget NaNa and all the fun we’ve had.

What has been your favorite thing about quarantine?

Christmas in July! My favorite thing was making Christmas trees out of magazines.

What has been your least favorite thing about quarantine?

Not going out. I miss going to the movies.

Would you rather go to school or have school on campus? Why?

Go to school because I get to see my friends.

What is something you’ve learned since coming to Joy Ranch?

I’ve learned how to make my bed. You have to get dressed and make your bed before you go out. (Lily made sure I let you know that it’s important to get dressed before you go somewhere. 😊)

Is there something you would like to do or a place you would like to go in the next year?

I’ve never been to Disney World. I want to go and ride all the rides, but I don’t want to meet any of the characters. They’re kind of scary.

Do you have any special talents/skills/crazy things you can do?

Gymnastics. I can do flips, but I’m not allowed to do flips anymore because sometimes I land on my back and Mr. Gene and Mrs. Bethany are afraid I’ll get hurt. But I’m allowed to do cartwheels.

What’s your favorite part of the day?

I like the afternoons. We get to play outside and we go to the ERC.

What’s your favorite item/toy in your room and why? (What is its name if it’s a toy?)

Someone gave me a homemade blanket that has frogs all over it. It’s so cute!

If you were in America’s Got Talent what would you do?

Sing!

What is your favorite memory verse?

John 3:16. “For God so loved the world He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

What is your favorite dish or food that you can make?

Cookie icing! It’s just powered sugar and milk, and you stir it. (You should know that Lily is huge fan of sugar.)

Is there anything you want to share about yourself?

That I also like lily pads! I like frogs because they live on lily pads.

While perusing your site to find ways we can connect with your mission I paused at blogs. A smile took over when I saw Lily’s page… because her love for lily pads brought to mind the Lily Pad stories that inspired me, perhaps they can be shared to inspire Miss Lily. These are the Lily Pad stories: Because Sharing is Caring

How being scared turned into a vision. Our lives don’t have to be perfect to make a difference! Clara Sherman’s story from our close community Roanoke.

Kids innovating for kids – Never stop dreaming, loving and looking out for opportunities to help others! Another observation, Nick and Clara came up with the same solution, but they probably never met or heard of each other! I like to think of ideas, as gifts from God to help others, what we do with our gift is up to us! We have a choice we can keep it to ourselves or find ways to share the gift!
